The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF), has successfully screened and selected 77 children to benefit from its Out-Of-School Children Community (OOSC) project.
The screening and selection took place at the Event Center and Chief Chambers in Bakassi and Akpabuyo respectively.
Responding to concerns expressed about the project’s implementation and sustainability, The Foundation’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Uchenna Achunine assured parents and guardians that “the project is sustainable and we have started implementation which is why we are here.”
He maintained that “the project has come to stay, parents will play a vital role towards the sustainability of the project.”
Speaking for the benefiting communities, Chief Sylvester Effiong lauded the efforts of TBLF as he revealed that in time past some NGOs have come and undertaken similar projects and abandoned them halfway, warning that The Bridge Leadership Foundation should leave up to expectation.
