The entrance examinations into the Cross River State nursing schools has been slated for August 25, 2018 at the West African People’s Institute, Calabar a statement from the state’s ministry of health says.
The statement signed by the Commissioner, Dr. Inyang Asibong also said the sale of admission forms into the schools of nursing Calabar, Ogoja and Itigidi have commenced.
The statement made available to CrossRiverWatch indicates that the forms are obtainable at the schools of nursing Calabar, Ogoja, Itigidi and the department of nursing in the ministry of health headquarters in Calabar.
It directed eligible candidates to “collect application forms on payment of six thousand, five hundred naira only (#6,500.00) only into any bank of their choice.

The closing date for submission of completed forms was slated for August 10, 2018, the ministry said and directed interested applicants to submit the completed forms with; “2 recent passport photographs; photocopies of Age and Education certificates; bank teller/printouts and two file jackets.”
Also, candidates are expected to “arrive the venue latest 7:00AM and come with their writing materials,” the ministry said.
