Super Highway: NGO Ask Cross River Government To Pay Construction Company 300 Million Naira Monthly

The Executive Director of Rainforest Resources and Development Centre, Mr. Odey Oyama has called out the Secretary to Cross River State Government, Mrs. Tina Agbor to secure a resolution from the State House for approval to issue an irrevocable standing payment order of 300, 000, 000, 000 naira monthly in favour of Messrs Sydney Construction Company limited.

According to the Non-Governmental Organization in a four-page letter addressed to the office of the SSG and dated 8th of April, 2019 the  payment is in respect of the construction of the 275km – 6 lane Calabar – Ikom – Katsina Ala super highway.
