PICTURES: FG’s 17-Man Team In Calabar, NMA Suspends Strike

Pictures have emerged of the 17-man team from the Federal Ministry of Health led by the Executive Director of the NPHCDA, Dr. Faisal Shuaib in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.

The team was given the mandate to engage with Cross River State Government in setting up their COVID-19 response strategy and aligning it with the national response as well as facilitate discussions with aggrieved stakeholders.

Outcome of the meeting is yet to be made public.

Though, the Nigerian Medical Association in the State has just suspended it’s strike action, a source confirms as the association is preparing to come public with it’s position.
