JUST IN: Cross River Deputy Governor, Ivara Esu Visits Warring Ochon And Alesi

The Cross River State Deputy Governor, Prof. Ivara Esu has visited the Alesi and Ochon, the recent warring communities in Cross River State.

Casualties have been recorded in the communal crisis which began yesterday between the brother villages, Alesi in Ikom and Ochon in Obubra LGAs, both in central Cross River State.

As a result of the fighting, the Calabar-Ikom highway was blocked, the army later opened the road.
