At least one storey building in Eburutu Army Barracks, Calabar, was in the evening of Friday 6 January 2023 gutted by fire.
The cause of the fire which can not be ascertained burnt block 13, Malabor of the Barracks.
An eyewitness told CrossRiverWatch that men of the Fire Service arrived when major damage was done.
