Report reaching our newsroom says that the Executive Chairman of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State, Honorable Esther Bassey is dead.
The Deaconess is said to have passed on in the wee hours of Friday 24th February 2023, less than 24 hours before the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
At the time of this report, the cause of her demise can not be ascertained.
