Cross River State Young Progressives Party, YPP, deputy governorship candidate, Prince Agbor Onyi, Egbung Sandra, and Godwin Imojara, an Immigration Officer who was kidnapped days before the election remains in captivity.

They were kidnapped on Thursday, March 16 at the Akparavuni axis in Biase Local Government Area.

While friends and relatives are clamouring for their release, the kidnappers have made demands for huge sums of ransom.

So far, our reporters across the 18 LGAs are reporting of low turnout in many polling units.

They report that some who spoke to them say they suspect a lot of people are disgruntled with the outcome of results in the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
