Thank you to all of you.
You may not know, but your support is what gives me the impetus to trudge on. All your advocacies have in many ways helped to always shame my adversaries and I deeply relish it. I sincerely don’t take it for granted and please continue to pray for me to keep on the path of truth always.
I want to thank my lawyers, Femi Falana SAN, Marshal Abubakar, First Baba Isa, James Ibor, and Inebehe Effiong. With the aid of God, they got me out of jail.
My leader, Omoyele Sowore, is as always, a burning spear for my passion. He will always watch my back and he did so well again, this time around.
My media friends and colleagues who have also seen through the veil and continue to trust my work also stood up for me. Special thanks to the Committee to Protect Journalists CPJ, in New York.
I also want to give special thanks to my wife, Okemena, my elder brother, Rear Admiral P.A. Agba Rtd, and my other family members who have stood beside me like a rock.
Senator Musa Adede was the first to intervene when I was taken to jail this time. Senator Shehu Sani was the first to visit me in Kuje Prison. And our aluta Mama. Mama ActionAid Nigeria, Ene Obi, came with her full squad and took over my prison expenses.
The visitors were so many that the jail authorities complained that I needed to cut down the number. How much more comforting can solidarity be?
I am deeply grateful. I am out of jail. I am in very good health and a good mood for more doses of trouble.
Be rest assured those who chase after the tail of the rabbit shall be caught in their own snare.
