Cross River State Transition From Ben Ayade To Bassey Otu: Matters Arising.
INTRODUCTION
Transition means a continuous change from one state, thing, or idea to another. It can either be a noun which is the process or period of changing or a verb, which is the actual process of changing.
In administration and governance, it could mean the process or change of an administration or period as is currently experienced across Nigeria.
Cross River State is not left out with a new Governor and Deputy to be sworn in, in about eight days.
However, there have been conversations about what to be expected from the next administration, especially after the inauguration of the Transition Committee and other subcommittees.
There have been questions such as? What is a transition committee?
Should it exist?
Is it legal?
What is their role?
What happens during a transition?
What is expected of the next administration?
Should there be a change in the ideology of governance and administration?
What about the developmental paradigm? Should there be a shift?
What should the transition look like and focus on?
