Gov. Bassey Otu Set Up Illegal Mining Task Force And State Road Infrastructure Levy Committee

The Cross River State Governor, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has approved the composition of a special task force against illegal mining and a 7-man committee for state road infrastructure levy.

Gov. Otu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbeche made the disclosure in two separate statements.

The special task force on mining is composed of:  

  1. Engr. Ukam Ngwu Ngwu – Chairman 
  2. Mr. Eganojoi Enebieni Ankari -Member
  3. Mr. Bassey Ewa – Member
  4. Mr. Agbebia Michael – Member
  5. Mr. Michael Ashindoitiang -Member
  6. Barr. Columbanus Mbu Effa -Member
  7. Barr. Ijom Ukam -Member
  8. Mr. Sylvester Effa -Member
  9. Mr. Cletus Ogbizi – Member
  10. Mr. Charles Ushie – Member
  11. Mr. Eko Ogban Ethothi – Member
  12. Mr. Joseph Obu Okoi – Member
  13. Mr. Daniel Erom (Otiji) – Member
  14. Mr. Joseph Agbo – Member
  15. Mr. Ralph Ime – Member
  16. Elder Abenego Okon – Member
  17. Mr. Akpeke Peter – Member
