Senate Summons 15 Companies Over NGEP Intervention Fund Disbursement

The Nigerian Senate through its Committee on Gas, has summoned 15 companies operating in Nigeria for an investigative hearing over the Nigeria Gas Expansion Program (NGEP) intervention fund disbursement.

Chairman of the Committee who is the Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, mandated the affected companies to appear before the Senate on Thursday, 30h November 2023 at 2:pm.

The companies are beneficiaries of the disbursement from the Nigeria Gas Expansion Program (NGEP) Intervention Fund by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The firms are required to appear with their Progress Reports stating the location of projects and the current status of the projects.

Some of the companies and their amount of cash disbursement include:

Nipco Gas Ltd_N25,000,000,000.00

 Nipco Plc_N5,000,000,000.00

Hyde Energy Ltd_N2,000,000,000.00

Lee Engineering And Construction Company_N15,000,000,000 00

 Pinnacle Oil And Gas Fze – N10,000,000,000.00

Transit Gas Limited – Oil Company Nig Ltd (Amocon)_N8,000,000,000.00

Amalgamated – N5,000,000,000.00

Gas Nexus Ltd – N10,000,000,000.00

First Modular Gas Systems Limited – N4,300,000,000.00

Novagas Limited – N1,000,000,000.00

Greenville Liquified Natural Gas Company  N10,000,000,000.00

Ap Lpg Limited – N8,000,000,000.00

Dangote Oil Refinery – N5,000,000,000.00

Delta State Government – N20,000,000,000.00

Mob Integrated Services Limited – N2,500,000,000.00
