There is panic on campus as the University of Calabar (UNICAL) Registry Unit has been gutted by fire.
The incident occurred on Thursday Night. Video footage shows young people calling on the fire service to come to their aid.
As of press time, it was not yet known what caused the fire. The details of the extent of damage will be reported subsequently.
