And, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Ambassador Nura Rimi in his remarks while welcoming the minister commended the President for “his wisdom in appointing a minister that had accomplished so much to come and champion industrial revitalization in Nigeria,” the reports reads.

“I must tell you that if anybody can do it, we have the person that can do it,” Rimi said, adding that; “It is not by accident that the president brought the minister here, having achieved so much in the Ministry of Sport, to come and arrest the precarious situation that we find ourselves in.”

The senior civil servant, expressed the willingness of the ministry’s staff to work with him.

Meanwhile, Enoh who expressed commitment to driving the country’s economic growth through industrial development, also thanked the staff for the warm reception accorded him.

The former federal and state lawmaker will be operating from the premises of the Bank of Industry, BOI, until the office at the ministry is put in order. However, he says his presence will be at the ministry as the Permanent Secretary will always be there.
