The Cross River State All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman, Alphonsus Ogar Eba, Esq. and well wishers have pour out prayers for the quick recovery of the Member representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District in the Nigeria’s senate, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
This is following an earlier press release issued on 30 June 2025 by the Senator on his official Facebook page announcing two weeks absent from legislative duties owing to pressing medical issue.
Explaining the necessity for the medical break, Sen. Jarigbe stated that “I wish to officially inform you that I am currently unavoidably absent from my legislative and constituency duties due to pressing medical attention that I must attend to. This is a necessary pause, and I am having proper medical attention . God willing, I expect to fully resume my responsibilities within the next two weeks or even sooner.
“As a result of this development, the much-anticipated Endorsement Rally has been postponed. This decision was not taken lightly, but it is in recognition of the importance of being in full strength to engage with you, my people, as you truly deserve. No mortal is immune to health challenges, and this moment reminds us all of the fragile nature of life and the need for compassion.
He calls on those trivializing his health with politics should seize from doing so. “I kindly appeal to you to ignore those who may attempt to ridicule this natural situation. Life remains unpredictable, and no one can truly say what the next moment holds. Let us not lose our shared sense of humanity in the name of politics.”
Jarigbe, however, solicited for prayers for quick recovery, calling on those in desperate need of assistance on healthcare to reach out to his constituency Officer.
In their prayers, the APC Chairman in the state Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq, said: “My dear brother and friend, Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe. You are in our prayers. We pray for speedy recovery. May God be with you and restore your health Amen.”
Among other individuals who also prayed for his quick recovery including Kogi-born Rights Lawyer Adeyanju Deji, Esq.
