The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, has reversed a recent appointments some social media platform handlers were appointed.
The Governor made the revision in a press release issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Owan Enoh, stating that after a careful review of the appointment, directed it should be stepped down for further notice.
Otu, however, has affirmed the promotion of the following media appointees as earlier announced.
Ms. Imani Odey as Special Adviser, Electronic Media, Mr. Andrea Ekeng- Senior Special Assistant, New Media, Mr. Nathaniel Otaba – Senior Special Assistant, Communication, Mr. Oqua Etim as Special Assistant, ICT, Mr. Daniel Williams – Special Assistant, Photography and Mr. Godswill Ekpe as the Special Assistant, Cinematography.
The following media aides are also approved: Ms. Beatrice Akpala – Special Adviser – Content Development and Archiving, Mr. Friday Awade, Senior Special Assistant, Media Advocacy, Ms. Phylo Modlin Odu Senior Special Assistant-Tactical Media Research and engagement, Mr. Saviour Etim Asuquo, Special Assistant, Content Development.
In addition, he added Ms. Antan Okor as Special Assistant, Public Orientation, Mr. Victor Akam, Special Assistant, Public Affairs, Mr. Eval Asikong as Senior Special Assistant, Strategic Communications, Ms. Thelma Benson – Senior Special Assistant, Broadcast media, Ms. Queen-Esther Bassey Documentation Special Assistant, Media Planning; Mr. Ebriku John Friday, Senior Special Assistant, Data Analytics and Ms. Faith Ejeje, is the Special Assistant, Brand Management and Advertising
The appointments are with immediate effect, the release added.
