The Cross River State Government has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools across the state will resume for the first term of the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, September 15, 2025.
This was contained in a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, referenced MOE/ED/2025/09, and signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Barr. Francis A.oyije.
The circular directed school heads, teachers, parents, and guardians to take note of the resumption date and ensure full compliance.
The ministry mandated all teaching and non-teaching staff of primary and secondary schools in the state to resume at their duty posts without fail.
The ministry noted that all public and private schools in the state must comply with the directive in line with the Ministry’s 2025/2026 academic calendar earlier released.
