RE: Dear Citizen Agba Jalingo, Where Are AAC Aspirants? BY INYALI PETER

This is a reply to “2023: Dear Citizen Agba Jalingo, Where Are AAC Aspirants? BY INYALI PETER“.

We have our internal issues in court which we are dealing with at the national level that are affecting our ability to field candidates.

INEC gives a token to the person the commission recognizes as National Chairman and when candidates are elected, that token is what is used to upload the names of the candidates into the INEC site.

Presently, the commission and some unscrupulous elements are recognizing an impostor as our National Chairman against the wishes of majority of members and we are in court to resolve all that.

That’s what affected the candidacy of Dr. Magam for the last Cross River North senatorial by-election.

So, currently we are working closely with Anthony Bissong Attah and a few other registered political parties in the state to provide an alternative pending when the court resolves our issues.

Thank you.

Citizen Agba Jalingo is the Cross River State AAC Chapter Chairman.
