Cross River-born Teremas ‘Terem’ Moffi scored two goals on Monday at the Stade Adrar in Morocco to help Nigeria’s Super Eagles beat the Falcons and True Patriots of São Tomé and Príncipe on the second game day of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifier.
Moffi, 23, a native of Ogoja Local Government Area who plays for French Ligue 1 side, FC Lorient, scored in the 43rd and 61st minutes to help Nigeria ferry 10 goals past the small African island nation.
He now has four goals in four international appearances for the country.
Moffi’s brace as well as four goals from Victor Osimhen, and lone goals from Moses, Peter, Peter Etebo, Ademola Lookman, and Emmanuel Dennis ensured Nigeria sits top of Group A after two games.
