Cross River State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke has expressed sadness at the passing away of Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita, Imoke said the death of the Emir was a huge loss to the country.
“His death at a time the nation needs his wealth of experience and stabilising influence is a huge loss indeed”, he said.
While praying God to grant his soul eternal rest, he also prayed for fortitude for his family, the government and people of Kano State and indeed, Nigerians to bear the loss.
