Information reaching CrossRiverWatch has is that one Mr. Udo, a resident of Becroft Street in Calabar South Local Government in Cross River, is now at large after allegedly stabbing his elder brother to death yesterday.
A source who pleaded anonymity told our reporter that Udo stabbed his brother, Ekpenyong at a barbing saloon in Efut Street, Calabar South, between the hours of 7-8pm yesterday after the duo had a scuffle.
The cause of the fight between the two brothers was not known as at the time of filling this report but our source said Ekpenyong was rushed to a nearby hospital by a keke (tricycle) driver where he was confirmed dead on arrival before his body was deposited in an unnamed mortuary.
CrossRiverWatch also learnt that the Police in Atakpa Division have waded into the matter and are on the heels of Mr. Udo.
Attempts to hear from the family and the police public relations officer in the state were yet successful as at the time of filing this report.
