The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke, has commended the online media in Cross River state for helping to promote and shape the political process.

The governor who gave the commendation during an exclusive chat with the Editor-In-Chief of CrossRiverWatch, Agba Jalingo, at the sidelines of the PDP governors interactive forum with media chief executives and leaders of Civil Society Organizations in Lagos, particularly singled out CrossRiverWatch and said the platform has become one of the most reliable source of information about the state.

He encouraged online journalists in the state to always consider the opinions and feelings of their readers and ensure that they remain objective at all times in their reportage and commentaries.

According to Imoke “I think I must commend the online media in Cross River State which you pioneered with CrossRiverWatch and CrossRiverWatch has become a platform which the people of Cross River pay attention to. You people have actually become one of the most reliable source of information in the state I must commend you and I want to add that you should always remember that the most important thing is your followership which is anchored on your objectivity.     The state Govnr has visited your publication office and commended you for a great job well done for getting information to all sundries. H ave you published any thing concerning the CRUTECH which supposed to opened January 2015 and up till now the institution remained closed from students.
