The acting Bursar of the Federal College of Education Obudu, Mr. Godwin Ayendi, has died following complications from a motor accident barely two months after resuming duties in the office.
Ayendi took over from Mr. Francis Okorie who died barely two months ago from an unnamed illness.
CrossRiverWatch gathered that while returning from a meeting in Abuja, Mr. Ayendi was involved in an auto accident in Benue state in which he survived with a broken right arm, while the driver whose name was simply given as Mr. Richard escaped unhurt.
He was then rushed to an orthopaedic hospital in Mkar, Benue state where he gave up the ghost on Sunday, September 20, 2015 prompting speculations of a diabolical atmosphere in the office of the bursar.
As at the time of filing this report, there was no official release regarding his funeral arrangements.
