Okpo Rekordz, a Calabar based record label has launched its fourth album, a twenty eight (28) tracks album titled “Welcome 2 Bateba” over the weekend at Jasper Night Club Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
Speaking with CrossRiverWatch during the event, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the record label, Idongesit Eddy Ekpenyong also known as Upper X, said Okpo Rekordz has raw talents to also show to the world that, not only in Lagos, Port Harcourt, United States of America and other parts of the world, can super stars with creative talents be found.
According to him, Okpo Recordz has come to stay as it aims to groom young artists in the State and give them opportunities to grow their creative talents at almost no cost. Reiterating that, “We are committed to encouraging young artists in the State and it’s environ”.
On his path, the Managing Director, Okpo Rekordz, Ephraim Inyang also known as Space, after disclosing that the record label is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission further revealed that, “Okpo Rekordz music has gone far and wide, it’s like a bomb to the society”.
He urged young and interested Cross Riverians to tap into the opportunities from their creative abilities maintaining that “if your passion is entertainment join us at Okpo Recordz you won’t regret it”.
