JUST IN: Tension In Gakem As SARS Operative Kills One

Tension is said to have built up since last night at Gakem community in Bekwara LGA in Northern Cross River state over the death of one Mr. Edward Okplenye, allegedly shot by a SARS operative at the State Produce Check Point in Gakem.

An eye witness on ground told CrossRiverWatch that the main road has been blocked since last night with motorists stranded.

Efforts are ongiong to hear from the Police and the deceased family.
