Two persons have been feared dead while scores are also reported to have been injured as hostilities resume again in the communal war between Odukpani and New Netim.
Details of the cause of the latest crisis have not been confirmed independently by CrossRiverWatch but sources say it is connected to thw lingering land and chieftaincy tussle between the two communities.
Our reporter in Odukpani says, presently people have been seen fleeing Odukpani for fear of being caught in the middle of the senseless melee.
This recent attack is coming on the heels of the sacking of New Netim village over a year ago where scores were killed in an apparent land tussle.
