Agba Jalingo Absent In Court, Amobeda Orders Prison Authority To Produce Suspect On Friday

Justice Simon Amobeda has ordered the Prison authority to produce Agba Jalingo in Court on Friday 7th February 2020.

Jalingo, publisher of CrossRiverWatch was absent this morning as the Court sat.

Reacting, James Ibor, Esq. Counsel to Jalingo was optimistic that the Prison authority will obey the order haven failed to produce him today.

Jalingo is facing treasonable charges for asking Governor Ben Ayade to account for 500m Naira meant for floating the State Microfinance Bank.

The Defense Counsel is asking the Court to vary its order asking the Federal Government to provide electronic verbatim recording device.
