2023: President Goodluck Jonathan’s In-law Resign From Ayade’s Government, Declares To Run For Governor

Prince Godswill O. Edward, in law to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has declared interest to run for the office of Governor of Cross River State, come 2023.

He made his intentions clear through a resignation letter to his boss, Sen. Ben Ayade.

The Abi Prince who was Special Adviser to the Governor on Sports and Cinematography turned in his resignation letter on the 17th day of March 2022.

According to him, “My decision is necessitated upon God’s mandate to run for the office of Governor in our dear State come 2023.

“Secondly upon the new bill signed electoral bill, with particular the reference to resignation of political appointees who have interest in running for political office.”
