The Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission, CROSIEC, has postponed the earlier scheduled stakeholders meeting for the upcoming local government election.
The postponement was contained in a press release signed by CROSIEC Chairman Dr. Ekong Boco, dated September 10, 2024 with reference number CROSIEC/2023/LGE/VOL.1/20.
The earlier scheduled meeting was slated to be held on Thursday, 12th September, 2024 which was later postponed.
CROSIEC apologizes for the inconvenience the changes may have caused, promising that a new date will be communicated to the public.
The release reads “The Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) regrets to inform all invitees, stakeholders and the general public that the Meeting for the Publication of Notice of Election earlier scheduled for Thursday, 12th September, 2024 has been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course.
“We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this postponement. Thank you for your understanding.”
