Akpanke Commissions Library, Six Classroom Block In Obudu

The member representing Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra federal constituency in the National Assembly, Honorable Peter Akpanke on Tuesday continued his projects commissioning tour while handing over a six classroom block complete with a library and offices to the Community Secondary School at Ukpada, in Utugwang South Ward of Obudu Local Government Area.

The projects were facilitated by the first term lawmaker who said it will, “go a long way in improving the standard of teaching and learning in the school,” in a post on his Facebook page.

He commended the large turnout of staff, students and members of the community while stating that he looks forward to, “unveiling more signature projects facilitated by me across the constituency.”

Mr. Akpanke also said the project was in fulfilment of his promise made to the people of the ward during his campaign in 2023. 

Furthermore, he awarded scholarships, school books, and bags to thirteen students who welcomed him in the school.

The lawmaker was accompanied by a former Council Chairman, Hon. Boniface Eraye, the Special Adviser to the Governor Aviation, Dr. Ken Aklah, the chapter Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Alpha Ublibli, among other dignitaries.
