The Cross River State Police Command has declared Benjamin Hilda, a 30-year-old student of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) missing.
The Theatre Arts Department student, Benjamin reportedly left his residence in early 2025 for an unknown destination and has not returned home nor seen since then. He was last contacted by his family in March 2025.
In a press release issued on Friday February 27, 2026, by the state Police Command spokesman, ASP Sunday Eitokpah for the Commissioner of Police, the student hails from Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State.
He is light in complexion, tall, and speaks Tiv and English fluently.
ASP Eitokpah said all efforts made by his guardians, friends, and colleagues to ascertain his whereabouts have so far proved unsuccessful.
The Command however appeals to the public with any useful information regarding his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the following numbers: 08112991880 and the PPRO: 07067977330 as all and sundry cooperation is highly appreciated in his finding.
