BREAKING: Cross River Assembly Member, Nelson Ofem’s Wife Kidnapped

Information reaching our newsroom has it that the wife of the member representing Yakurr 1 Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Nelson Ofem has been kidnapped.

Hon. Ofem, Chairman House Committee on Judiciary and Public Petition when called by this reporter for details simply said, “Jerry please wait” then dropped the call.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Irene Ugbo when called confirmed that it is true. His words “Yes she was kidnapped but we are still gathering intelligence.”

As at the time of filing this report it wasn’t clear when and where she was kidnapped and if ransom has been demanded by her abductors.
