2022 In Review: 22 Investigations That Exposed Corruption In Cross River State

Founded on the principles of open governance and accountability, through investigative journalism CrossRiverWatch published 22 investigative reports that exposed corruption in Cross River State last year.

The reports were published under different projects supported by Civic Media Lab, Climate Tracker, Policy Alert, Y Monitor, I-79 Media Consults, Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism, Pulitzer Center, International Budget Partnership, Tiger Eye Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the International Centre for Investigative Reporting.

The investigations cut across agriculture, politics, education, infrastructure, health, governance, customs, and traditions – 13 were by CrossRiverWatch reporters while 9 were republished from partner newsrooms.
